Acceptable Use Policy

What FacesToClips videos may and may not be used for, how photos are reviewed, and how to report a problem.

Last updated: 2026-10-09

What this policy is for

FacesToClips turns two photos into a short AI-generated video that follows one of our own story templates. This policy says what the service may be used for, how we check what goes in, and what we do when the rules are broken. It is part of the Terms of Service.

How FacesToClips is built to prevent misuse

  • Fixed stories. Every video follows a script we wrote. You choose a story, a format and a few options from a list. There is no free-text prompt, so a video cannot be steered into content of your own making.
  • Photo checks. Every uploaded photo is checked automatically before it can be used: it must show one real adult, with a clear, unobscured face. Photos that do not pass are refused before payment.
  • Real-person review. Each photo then goes through the real-person review of our video model provider. A photo that is not approved cannot be used.
  • Consent. Before you pay, you confirm that each photo shows you or an adult who has agreed to appear in the video.
  • Private results. Videos are delivered privately to the buyer. We do not publish them and run no public gallery.
  • Spot checks. We review orders and results by hand when something is reported or looks wrong.

What is not allowed

Do not use FacesToClips, its videos or any part of the service for:

  1. Sexual content. Nudity, sexual acts, or sexualised depictions of any person.
  2. Graphic violence and gore. Our stories contain no blood and no injury, and videos must not be edited or presented to suggest otherwise.
  3. Hate and harassment. Content that attacks, demeans or threatens a person or group, or that is used to bully or intimidate someone.
  4. Children. Photos of anyone under 18, in any role. This is never allowed.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation. Using a photo of a person who has not agreed to appear; using photos of public figures or celebrities; passing a video off as real footage; or using a video to deceive, defraud or defame anyone.
  6. Infringement. Photos you have no right to use, or uses of a video that infringe someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.

Also not allowed: uploading anything illegal, trying to get around the photo checks, automated or bulk use, reselling the service, and trying to reach other people's orders or files.

AI-generated content

Every FacesToClips video is generated by AI. When you share one, say so where the platform asks for it. Many platforms require a label on realistic AI-generated content, and you are responsible for following the rules where you post.

Reporting a problem

If a FacesToClips video shows you without your agreement, or you believe a video or an order breaks this policy, write to support@facestoclips.com. Tell us what you saw and, if you can, where you saw it or the order number. You do not need an account.

We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 7 days. Reports about children, non-consensual depictions or threats are handled first.

What we do when the rules are broken

Depending on what happened and how serious it is, we may:

  1. Refuse the order before it is made, and return any payment.
  2. Stop an order and delete its files, including the photos and any video already made.
  3. Block further orders from the person responsible.
  4. Report to the authorities where the law requires it or where someone may be in danger.

An order that is refused or stopped for breaking this policy is refunded unless the video was already delivered and used in breach of the rules.

If you think we got it wrong

Reply to the email we sent you, or write to support@facestoclips.com with your order number, and tell us why. A person reviews every appeal, and we answer within 7 days.

Changes

We update this policy when the service or the rules that apply to it change, and revise the date at the top.
